Most of you already know the face of this guy but not his name. He is a heavyweight champion and calls himself a Yankee. He is a regular on knuckles.tv (closed down?) and commented on the New Years Meeting 2008:
You may expect him to pup up here more often in the future. 😉
Alexi from Nori Yaro visited Daisuke’s shop:
If you’re a fan of Option videos, you may have noticed that whenever they feature a bosozoku-style car, like in the Go Go Daijiro segments, there’s always this one guy named Daisuke who keeps showing up with one or two of the cars. After a relatively difficult time tracking down his workshop (I eventually found an ad of his in a slightly obscure magazine and called the number) I took a drive out to visit it.
Wild bosozoku styled Gloria Y30
I think pictures say more than words here… They guy Daisuke does modify a lot of cars and has a giantic stockpile of cars in his backyard ready for modification!
Read on for more pics…
Of all cars in his backyard this is my personal favorite:
Widest rims I ever saw on a Nissan Laurel!
If you want to see what more there is in Daisuke’s backyard, you can find Nori Yaro’s blogpostings here and here.

How to get in this bosozoku style Nissan Bluebird 910?
Well that is a good question: it’s got no doorhandles!
Read on for more pics…
From the side you can see no hidden handles either
The only car that I know of that’s got no doorhandles is the General Lee of the Dukes of Hazard, but I doubt these Japanese will also enter the car through its windows!
If you are interested in how they removed the handles, you can see it all here.

The car is so low it barely made it on and off the trailer. 😉
I love the extra widened fenders and the simplicity of the car styling: not too overdone. The original metro grip is a nice touch though, however you can buy them anywhere nowadays… This is how low the car actually is:
Anyway, if you didn’t get what this video was about from the scenery and parkinglot: the guy who put the video on Youtube sold the car to an export firm and it got exported to another country. So who of you actually bought this nice Bosozoku styled car?

Who needs fender flares on this shakotan Skyline DR30?
Okay, I admit: there are fender flares at the rear of the car. But I thought it really looked badass shakotan without the flares at the front!
In case you don’t know what the difference between shakotan and bosozoku style is: please read our explanation
