We found another old video of a meeting 16 years ago:
The first car looks like a heavily modified Toyota Corona Coupe and it is nice to see how big the gatherings were back then!
Last week we asked what your favorite Super Silhouette car was and it ended up in a tie: the Impul Silvia Turbo S12 and the Tomica Skyline DR30 were just as popular. Good runner up was the Mazda Savanna RX7 SA22 and that’s a good score because it did not even feature as a picture! 🙂
Since it is a tie between those two we’ll make this weeks poll a “sudden death” between the two cars:
Nissan Silvia S12 super silhouette racer
versus
Nissan Skyline R30 super silhouette racer
This Toyota Mark II X4 made it as the Exhaust of the Week:
Toyota Mark II X4 with a sky high tail pipe
I hope he actually removes that pipe when he drives! It doesn’t look too comfortable with overpasses!
by bosozoku with no comments yetThis video shows how low you can go with a Nissan Cedric Y31:
When you look careful to the surroundings and cars you can only conclude the car cannot be older than a few years in this video. Also the title of the video states the car was purchased in the first year of Heisei, so that’s 1989. This fits to the period: the Y31 was built from 1987 to 1991.
Thumbs up to the person who bought a brand new Cedric, slammed it to the ground and asked his buddy to put it on video in 1989 and now put it on Youtube! 🙂
by banpei with 1 commentI found this great video by zeppann13J (I wonder what that 13J in his name means! 😉 ) and it is all about rims:
Not all rims are deep dish but almost all of them are very very wide! 🙂
I wonder how many of these rims you were unable to identify the design… I have to admin I couldn’t identify 3 of them… 😮
