by banpei with no comments yetDuring my seek for bosozoku lifestyle videos I came across someone posting a series of videos about the police versus bosozoku. Apparently the problems were that big that it got big media attention and it even got its own tv show in 1992!
It is funny to see it from both sides: police getting prepared to stop the bosozoku and the bosozoku getting prepared to either mock the police or to bypass the roadblock.
by banpei with no comments yetThis week some USDM deep dish rims:
Fake SSR Mk. I rims?
Even though these rims look really well on this Toyota Cressida they are fakes! To me these imitation SSR Mk. I rims are unknown but it is quite obvious they are copied from the SSR Mk. I.
However the Cressida itself is the best looking zokusha outside Japan I’ve ever seen!
Best looking zokusha Cressida outside Japan
This Cressida has oldskool curbfeelers. Haven’t seen those since my stepdad had to remove them from his Datsun 100a due to stricter law prohibiting them to be mounted on any car in Holland.
Another old meeting by TAKE4MICKEY:
The meeting is shot in 1994 and is a bit boring. What is amazing is that not much stereotype bosozoku can be seen in the movie. Most of the people shot in this movie are the average 1990s Japanese car lovers.
Note the tsurikawa dangling under this ground hugging Kenmeri Skyline at 1:10, it sure is low near the ground! And that Hakosuka surely has very deep rims!
We expected it a bit: the larger oil coolers are by far more favorable! Of course it looks really bad ass with a big aluminum oil cooler so it is naturally to win. 😉
Well, this week we want to know what you think of swapping headlights with a different car model.
Almost same headlight swap on Skyline C210 Japan
Looks nice on this Toyota Mark II MX41
Horrible on this Kenmeri Nissan Skyline C110?
So headlight swaps: do or don’t?
