Super Silhouette racer replicas have always been a major influence in the kaido racer scene. This rebuilt Silvia S12 is clearly not a 100% accurate replica but it will do the job just fine. 😉
The big wedge shaped front air dam is a lot larger than the original and the roofline is obviously not S110 (the S12 Super Silhouette was actually the previous S110 with the S12 front face) but S12.

So was the S12 ‘face’ on the super silhouette from before S12 production? Do you know how they managed to pass it off as a ‘Silhouette’ if the front and back didn’t match?
Great picture, btw
Basically the car remained the same as the S110: apart from the “popup lights” look, tail lights and “moving” the b-pilar but the other parts did remain the same. The Group 5 rules only said the width/height of the car (minus fenders) and the shape had to be (roughly) the same as the production car. I guess they thought it looked similar enough.
I wish modern motorsport regulations were so lenient… Maybe they should have called the series ‘Super Silhouette If You Stand At A Distance And Squint In The Dark’ !!
