Friday video: Aoshima Garuchan and Shakotan Boogie collection
Over the past years Aoshima has been releasing several Garuchan boxes containing 12 cars per box.
Each box contains four models with three different paintschemes and/or modifications and so far six different boxes have been released!
This guy has been collection them and shares them through Youtube:

Unfortunately I haven’t seen them available anywhere outside Japan (not even Hobby Link Japan!) and most of them have been sold out by now. It would be best to find them through Auctions Yahoo

The 1/64 cars are awesome, but I really like the 1/24 model kits.
Hobby Search (also Japanese) might be a good alternate source.

I think you meant [gurachan]. The 1/24 model kits are nice! More detail than 1/64, but I’d love to have any of them!
These rule!!!! I think the problem is everytime a toy company does a line of retro Japanese cars (bosu or not) they always put their generic wheels on, same as the rest of their toy line (the recent Mad Manga Hotwheels being a great example of this). It’s good to see something with a ‘lil more lip under the arches, although how you could have a Shakotan Boogie collection without low low offsets, I don’t know!
