You probably already read the news on JNC blog or Kyushakai: wheel manufacturer Rota did it again! They designedcopied another wheel and this time it is the famous Hayashi Street:
Rota Street?
They will be available in 15x7J ET20 and ET0 and also in 15x9J ET-10. Price? Probably somewhere near one fifth of the originals…
Personally I think it is a terrible thing to knock off a classic design that is still in production. If they were copying Hoshino Impuls or Techno Phantoms I could have understood their actions…

It’s (IMO) a good idea, for me personaly. Here in Europe rims like Impul, Hayashi, Watanbe or old school SSR’s are totaly unavalibel. The only way to grab some JDM style wheels are UK’s junkyard (whit tons of JDM grey imports) or wheel makers like Rota or Drag.
LET’S ALL KILL THE FUCKER WHO COPIED THIS! I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY ROTAS! I’ll prefer paying a million yen for an origional just because they are… if they’re going to copy the cherry blossoms by hayashi I’ll nuke their headquarters of evil plans!
This is so sad. I was planning on buying some actual Hayashi streets for my car and now I have to worry about all the Honda boys around here running them. And if that happens people will think I’m a cheap bastard like they are… damn…
