I had some trouble figuring out what rims were on this Yonmeri Skyline:
Deep dish Best Fulstron Star
I came to the conclusion that they are supposed to be Best Fulstron Star rims. Now who would come up with a name like that??
Edit: I stand corrected here: they are Techno Project T.R.V. rims
BTW: this is what the Yonmeri looks like:

Would you consider those glass headlight covers hot or not?

I spotted this deep dish SSR Mk II in a Tokyo Auto Salon 2011 gallery and it reminded me of the very first deep dish posting on the site:

And compare it to the picture of that very first posting:
Very deep dish SSR Mk. II rims
I’m quite sure it is the very same rim and car! 🙂

Not only are these 14 inch 12J wide SSR Mk IIs very nice to look at, also the four door Laurel C130 and two four door Skyline C110s in the background are equally nice to look at:

The title of the Auctions Yahoo ad says they are family car rims! Can’t agree more with that!
The offset is ET-54, so that’s pretty deep dish!

According to the seller they don’t have any corrosion, but one of them has a minor dent in them:

It can be fixed if you actually weld it, but that’s only a minor thing for its low buymenow-price of 95,000 yen (1,140 US dollars).
You can buy it on Auctions Yahoo:

This Nissan Skyline KPGC10 by Tanigawa Takeshi is one of their track cars and not their normal shakotan or kyusha kai example. Nevertheless I want to share the deep dished RS Watanabes they put on it:
RS Watanabe 8 spoke on KGC10
At the front it already sticks out too far and they had to extend the fenders.
Don’t worry, they were sane enough to use FRP fenders to begin with:

Unfortunately they did not feature the 11J at the rear, but I think the 9J front was already impressive enough. 😉

Wait, that Mini Cooper no kaido racer?!
Deep dish SSR Mk II
True, but it has got some wide fenders with deep dish 10 inch SSR Mk II rims in them!
So it is not about the car, but all about the rims:

The tires are Yokohama Advan A032R 165/70R10 and they are nicely stretched around the Mk IIs.
