Yesterdays picture of the week was a nice teaser for todays wallpaper! Yes: it is the same picture, but cropped and enhanced. Hope you will like it!

by banpei with no comments yetThis picture was taken at an Itasha meeting but the Skyline R30 obviously shows an oil cooler up front along with the famous crossed rising sun flags. The Skyline has a set of not so deep dish SSR Longchamps and has a big anime drawing on its bonnet… So is it an itasha or zokusha?
Nissan Skyline R30 itasha or zokusha?
Since this Skyline R30 doesn’t have a grille anymore I can’t tell if it is a DR30 or any other R30…
So what do you think? Hot or not?
by banpei with 1 commentTo illustrate that bosozoku style cars do not just come out of nowhere: this weeks wallpaper is a work in progress Nissan Skyline C210!

Even though the car is still covered with filler it is still a very beautiful sight: you can clearly see how its lines have been changed to become a kyusha styled C210. 😛
Now this picture really fooled me at first:
Almost real: sharknose C110 scale model
I thought it was the real deal: such a beautiful sharknose Skyline C110. It must have been the low res phonecam picture that hided the fact that it is a scale model. Too bad the big cars behind it gave it away.
From the real the car looks even better with the chromed bumper:

Also the single round taillight is very much in line with the rest of the car.

Time for another milder styled wallpaper: a kyusha styled kenmeri Nissan Skyline KGC111:
Kyusha style Nissan Skyline KGC111
I don’t think it will be a KPGC110 since it does not wear any GTR badges and only 197 KPGC110s were ever made.
