This weeks wallpaper is a genuine hakosuka Skyline KPGC10. Some people my say it is the worst thing you can do, but apart from the skewed headlights the car looks like a genuine granchan GTR!
Liberty Walk Skyline KPGC10
I have no idea where I found this weeks wallpaper, but it has been sitting on my harddisk for a few months now. It is a Yonmeri Skyline by Liberty Walk:

Some people may have recognized it already, indeed it is the same Skyline as in the badboy search polls. I’m not 100% sure about it, but it looks like the pictures in the polls were taken earlier than the ones from Liberty Walk.
by banpei with no comments yetWallpaper Wednesday? On a Thursday?
Facebook fan Chris O’Brien asked us if we could post some big sized pictures so he could put it on his desktop as a background. We dug deeply into the archives and found some suitable pictures for that purpose. We will post them on Wednesdays and the Deep Dish regulars will move to thursday starting from next week onwards
We will kick off this week with this nice Kyusha style C210:

by banpei with 2 commentsNow when I saw this car my first thoughts were not Nissan Skyline C210, but actually 1981 Ford Mustang Mach 1!
Nissan Skyline C210 Mach 1
Everyone who did see the original Gone in 60 seconds knows the looks of the Mach 1 by heart! Okay, it does not resemble the Mustang one on one, but you can clearly see its influences! 😉
However the paintscheme is clearly inspired by Starsky and Hutch’s Ford Torino. So which Ford did inspire this car?
I only wonder about the quad pipe exhaust: would this be a 4 cylinder L16 or L18 Skyline then?
