Apparently this Cresta GX71 won the Hokkaido old car event held on the 25th of July:

      I couldn’t agree more with that! 😀

      But it won with what?

I have no clue… Maybe with the donut competition?

      Or the bukkake exhaust competition?

      Or the smoking contest?

      I guess we’ll never know… 😉

    • Sep 12thbosozoku video: Baku Sozoku episode From Samantha

I found this full 50 minute episode of the Baku Sozoku (?????) anime on someones Minkara blog. Even though it is not subtitled nor synchronized it contains some English and is still a bit understandable:

I really wonder what is more understandable: the Japanese or the English spoken in this video, especially near the end! 😀

    • Sep 11thBosozoku Style Coloringbook Normal Edition

Amazing! After one hectic night the limited edition of the Bosozoku Style Coloringbook is almost sold out! Only three copies left! 😮

No worries: I already have decided that a normal edtion of the Coloringbook will be made!

The normal edition with be slightly different from the limited edition:

      • 4 extra pages!
      • Cover will be in color
      • 100 grams paper to keep it the same weight

Now all I have to do is fire up Illustrator and draw the remaining four coloringpages! 😉

Can’t say when it will become available, but I reckon it will be ASAP!

A Bosozoku Style Coloring book? WTF?!

It all started two and a half years ago when me and a friend of mine thought it would be a great idea to create an AE86 related coloring books for his daughter and my son. Of course I forgot about it until a few weeks ago my almost three year old son told me his coloringbook was boring because the only pages not colored yet were the girly ones…

The idea of making a car related coloringbook came back to me and I decided to make him a Bosozoku Style coloring book since I’m already running that site. And what is more tough and a Bosozoku coloringbook?

So I started drawing, fast! I barely made it in time and he got the proof copy on his birthday. He started coloring the round taillights on the Skyline Japan immediately! Big success! 😉

Of course I did consider that if I thought it was a rad idea, many more would also think alike. So I printed all 12 pages in a limited run of 20 to share them with you!

If the demand is high enough I will reprint them as a normal book (with additional pages).

The Coloringbook is for sale for 5 euros (or 5.34 dollars for non EU-residents) at the Bosozoku Style section of the AEU86 shop:

    • Sep 11thExhaust of the week: Mark the Zig Zag

I love the way the zig zag pattern on this Mark II continues into the zig zag exhaust:
Mark II GX71 with Zig Zag exhaust
Mark II GX71 with Zig Zag exhaust

Not only does it continue in the exhaust, the SSR Longchamp X4s also do match the zig zag pattern:
