What does it look/sound like when two shakotan GX61/GX71 Crestas meet each other in a tunnel?
I found these pictures in one of the JCCA New Year Meeting 2010 galleries. These two zokushas are making donuts. One of them appears to be a Toyota Cresta GX71 (judging from the front bumper) with a nice set of deep dish SSR Mk 1 rims:

Apparently the left rear tire of the Cresta blew and these rims got certainly some damage from that action.
You can see it better in the enlargement of the picture:

Judging from this picture I’d say these rims are around 10J. 🙂

by banpei with no comments yetThe US Cressida at JCCS 2009 in the picture by Mike Garret made me think of this Japanese Cresta GX71:
JCCS 2009 Cressida inspiration?
Exhausts look very similar: straight double pipe, painted red with a grey finish at the top. Maybe the Cressida got inspired by this Cresta?
Last week we found a second big trumpet exhaust and this week we found another one in the Nagoya Racing archives:
And yet another big trumpet exhaust on a Cresta GX71!
The car is so low it barely made it on and off the trailer. 😉
I love the extra widened fenders and the simplicity of the car styling: not too overdone. The original metro grip is a nice touch though, however you can buy them anywhere nowadays… This is how low the car actually is:
Anyway, if you didn’t get what this video was about from the scenery and parkinglot: the guy who put the video on Youtube sold the car to an export firm and it got exported to another country. So who of you actually bought this nice Bosozoku styled car?
