Normally we only show the nice and shiney deep dish rims, but for these damaged Techno Shadows we make an exception:
Techno Shadow repairs by Rodstyle
As you can see: badly pitted and corroded wheel. Most people consider this already beyond repair.
The Japanese company Rodstyle is a wheel repairshop and they transform the Techno Shadows in picture above into something nice and shiney like this again:

This may be the most extreme example, but in general I think they are doing one hell of a job!

It may look a bit small for some deep dished Focus Racing rims but believe me, this small package does contain a full set of them:
Scale model 1/6th Focus Racing rims
I found these Aoshima Focus Racing copies for sale on Auctions Yahoo and they are meant to dress up your 1/6th GX71 scale model (which is IMO quite large).
Here you can see in an exploded picture how many tiny parts you will buy:

According to the seller these rims have been out of print for a long time now, so they are just like their bigger version also vintage wheels!

I had some trouble figuring out what rims were on this Yonmeri Skyline:
Deep dish Best Fulstron Star
I came to the conclusion that they are supposed to be Best Fulstron Star rims. Now who would come up with a name like that??
Edit: I stand corrected here: they are Techno Project T.R.V. rims
BTW: this is what the Yonmeri looks like:

Would you consider those glass headlight covers hot or not?

No this is not a rerun, but there are many cars (like the Legato Luce) which are the same that attended last years JCCA New Years meeting:
Not only big cars were attending the JCCA, how about a N2 flared Corolla KE35 coupe on deep dish steel rims?
It is always fun to watch the kaido racers having trouble taking the entrance/exit ramp…
Especially with the extremely lowered Corona T140 hardtop coupe! (Nice exhaust pipes!)
Or this Soarer Z10:
It has one advantage for the crowd, you can easily walk around the cars and shoot your videos from all angles:

I spotted this deep dish SSR Mk II in a Tokyo Auto Salon 2011 gallery and it reminded me of the very first deep dish posting on the site:

And compare it to the picture of that very first posting:

I’m quite sure it is the very same rim and car! 🙂
