Eikichi Yazawa became part of the whole subculture when he was part of the rockabilly group Carol in the early seventies. After his break-up with the group he pursued his solo career and managed to fill up the Budokan hall over a hundred times!
You may actually be familiar with his music through the game Yakuza 3: the opening theme was performed by Eikichi Yazawa.
Now if you are a huge fan of Eikichi your room might similar to this:

This room is located in FactoryKing’s garage, and yes: that is a Hart Racing rim in the background… 😉

Skyline GC211 with Racing Hart rims
Apart from the Racing Hart rims, hood fins, front air dam, side skirts and a big ducktail it also has a pair of Bosozoku overalls on its hood! I wouldn’t mind wearing all of them (Skyline included)!

by banpei with no comments yetIt has been a long time since we had a poll on Sunday. So here is a fresh new poll: do you prefer Hart Racing or Techno Shadow rims?
To freshen up your memory, here are two examples of both wheel designs:

Techno Shadows always look great on kyusha styled cars, especially if they are deep dish rims like these ones:

I have no idea what size, width and offset these rims are, but they are surely not as deep as previously posted Techno Shadows…
This is how well they look on a Nissan Bluebird-U (aka 610):

Can you imagine a deeper dish than these Racing Hart rims?

I can hardly think of rims as deep (and as beautiful) as these Racing Hart rims on this Laurel!

Look at how badass deep dish looks from the side!

They remind me of a posting from a year ago where a set of Racing Hart rims were for sale at Auctions Yahoo. The seller put them on a Mark II MX41 Hardtop Grande zokusha. Back then I thought it couldn’t be better than the Mark II, but apparently I was wrong. 😉
