No this is not a rerun, but there are many cars (like the Legato Luce) which are the same that attended last years JCCA New Years meeting:
Not only big cars were attending the JCCA, how about a N2 flared Corolla KE35 coupe on deep dish steel rims?
It is always fun to watch the kaido racers having trouble taking the entrance/exit ramp…
Especially with the extremely lowered Corona T140 hardtop coupe! (Nice exhaust pipes!)
Or this Soarer Z10:
It has one advantage for the crowd, you can easily walk around the cars and shoot your videos from all angles:

by banpei with 1 commentIn last weeks poll most visitors thought the bamboo spears exhaust is hot!
This week I came across pictures of a bunch of abandoned kaido racers, including this Nissan Leopard F30:
Abandoned kaido racer
Apparently someone either thought kaido racers are not hot anymore or just started on a new project.
Nevertheless the big question is: did you ever abandon a kaido racer project?
by banpei with no comments yetOn the third of January these kaido racers gathered together in the service area of Nagashima. Even though the video has bad quality (phonecam?) the still contains amazing amounts of kaido racers and bikes!
Hattoriworks posted these three videos of a kaido racers meeting in Odaiba:
The meeting took place half a yeara few days ago.
In the second video Mazda Luce Legato tries to conquer the pavement:
And in the last video a groundscrapingly low shakotan Carina (RA45?) repeats what the Luce Legato just did:
I found this first episode of Translogic visiting Japan on JNC yesterday and I thought the whole Kaido Racer coverage was pretty good and acurate!
The other two subjects (scooter modding and vanning) are pretty interesting too, but for the zokushas fast forward to 2:55.
For the people who visit regularly you probably have recognized a couple of the infamous rides of the Nagoya Exciting Car Showdown! 😉
