I was doubting if I should post this picture under part swaps or as a picture of the week. Because of the butaketsu Laurel SGX parked in front of the Skyline Japan it became the latter…
Yesterday I already featured a very nice scale model buildup of a pigsbutt Laurel SGX but in real life it looks much better, especially if it also features a Hiro spoiler on the boot lid. The Skyline features a set of (badly copied) Celica banana tail lights. (‘A`)?
Also if I’m not mistaken these two cars are the two main cars of Ultra Heaven.

That description also reflects this butaketsu Laurel SGX: it is scary how real it is!
Even the Carrozzeria speakers look real! Scary!

Normally we only show the nice and shiney deep dish rims, but for these damaged Techno Shadows we make an exception:

As you can see: badly pitted and corroded wheel. Most people consider this already beyond repair.
The Japanese company Rodstyle is a wheel repairshop and they transform the Techno Shadows in picture above into something nice and shiney like this again:

This may be the most extreme example, but in general I think they are doing one hell of a job!
You can find their webpage here.
by banpei with 1 commentI like the looks of the Butaketsu (????) Laurel (Nissan Laurel C130), especially if it sticks up its pigs butt on the highway like this one:
These two videos were shot by Zeppann13J. Hopefully more to come! 🙂
Who said SSR Mk Is are the best looking rims? These deep dish steelies on this Laurel C130 look definitely just as awesome!
