This time we feature the yellow Buttigiri sharknose Skyline C210!
Buttigiri sharknose Skyline C210
Sharknose with a clean more than 45 degree shadowy overhang
This yellow Skyline Japan is one of the best sharknoses I’ve seen so far! The nose has a sharp more than 45 degree angle and ends just far enough to give the original headlight a shadowy overhang.
Nice spoiler and Nissan Cherry E10 Coupe taillights
At the tail a lot of work was done as well: the tail lights were swapped for Datsun Cherry E10 Coupe (not the Cherry X1-R: they are a tiny bit different) and the rear spoiler lines just go nicely into the rear quarter panel, as if they were following that typical Skyline bob… Also the fuelcap relocation is done nicely!
Original L20E with side draft carbs
As you can see this car still has the original L20E it came with, but now upgraded with a set of 3 side draft carbs. Also the choice for yellow is a very good one: it became a really flashy car which suits the angular bodylines very well.
All in all one of my favorite zokushas!

It is an unknown event, which basically means he doesn’t remember where he shot it. 😉
Even though it is only a short video I see a lot of Skyline C210 Japans, a Gloria and an unidentifiable kei bosozoku car in that video.

A small stump on this Skyline Japan to put a large exhaust on!
I spotted these deep dish rims on auctions.yahoo.co.jp:
Deep dish SSR mk1 rims: 9.5J (front) and 11J (rear) wide
Even though they are not polished but finished flat matte at first glance these 13 inch rims look awesome! Especially with the nose of a Skyline Japan C210 on Hart Racing rims in the background. 😉
Deep dish SSR mk1 rims: 9.5J (front) and 11J (rear) wide
And with 9.5J at the front and 11J at the rear you can’t go wrong!
However the seller is a very honest man: he warns that these rims may look good, but in fact one of the rear rims is damaged at the hub opening (see picture above) and has cracks around the nuts and also one of the 9.5J front rims is not air tight. Of course the rims can be fixed, but that will cost you money as well.
Deep dish SSR mk1 rims: actually not that good as they appear to be…
Even though the seller says it is at bargain price at $1200 (compared to other 11J they are not really cheap!) it actually a may turn out to be buying a pig in a poke.
