Last parts-swap I left you guys with a Skylined Cedric 330 so this time I have a Cherried Skyline for you:
It also features a set of Hayashi Streets, HIRO tail spoiler and front fenders with cooling ducts.
Now finding the next one (Cherry X1-R related) will be one tough cookie…

by banpei with 1 commentAs I said a few days ago I did have something special that is close to the kaido racers: the heavily modified bemo taxi busses I saw while visiting Jayapura (Papua, Indonesia):
Mitsubishi Colt (Minicab) bemo taxi bus in Jayapura
As you can see these busses are modified with deep dish rims (sticking far out of the bodywork), tsurikawa (but only on the inside), trunk and chin spoilers, foglights and a lot of them had headlight and/or taillight swaps. So pretty close to the real deal! 🙂
I managed to actually find a Celica RA28 with some C110 tail lights on it!
Celica RA28 with C110 tail lights
Amazing how good these Skyline C110 tail lights look on a Celica. I wonder how much better the Celica liftback would have sold with these lights? On the other hand: the banana tail lights are also something special…

by banpei with no comments yetUnfortunately I was not able to find something with Laurel parts, but I did find something with a Skyline C210!
Celica tail lighted Skyline C210
This Skyline C210 had a tail light swap from a Celica RA28/TA28! (also referred as the banana tail lights)
The extremely sharp zig zag lightning exhaust makes this yellow beast complete!
Last time we had a C210 with a Cherry tail light swap, so this time we have a Laurel C210 with a Skyline C210 tail light swap!
Laurel C230 with Skyline C210 tail lights
It looks great from behind! 🙂
Just as great as up front…
Laurel C230 with Skyline C210 tail lights
Eventhough the front is bone stock Laurel… 😉
Next time a car swapped with Laurel parts?
