Okay, so now you got three different sets of deep dish rims and you only got one car to mount them on… What to do with the other two sets?
Things you can do with your deep dish rims
Well, for instance you can turn your 13J Techno Shadows into a coffee table!
Things you can do with your deep dish rims
Or you can turn your SSR Mk III into a nice barstool!
For the people who paid attention: the Techno Shadow rims were posted before in this deep dish posting and the 11J SSR Mk III in the picture of the Techno Shadow table were posted here.

Remember one of the early deep dish postings about a set of vintage Racing Hart rims (mounted on a Toyota Mark II MX41 Hardtop Grande) for sale on Auctions Yahoo?
The seller has some new rims for sale:
Techno Shadow 14 inch 13J rims on zokusha Mark II
In case you have noticed those enormous wide fenders: apparently those enormously wide 13J rims do fit in there!
Techno Shadow 14 inch 13J rims on zokusha Mark II
Unlike the first picture suggests he is only selling a set of 2 rims. The rims have a bolt pattern of PCD 114.3. They are 14 inch in diameter, 13J wide and have an offset of -74. Amazing!
In case you are interested, you can find the action here. But beware: 13J rims are very rare and the current bid is already at $3200! Of course you can always use the buy me now option and pay $3800 and be sure that you have absolutely an unique and rare pair of rims under your car!
by banpei with no comments yetEventhough the SSR Techno Shadow rims are very hard to come by I found another Bosozoku styled car with a set of them:

This Toyota Celica Liftback is widened in Grachan style to mimic the 70s racer style:
Grachan style Toyota Celica liftback with SSR Techno Shadow rims
In my opinion this car is one of the best looking Grachan styled cars I’ve seen so far!
This week we have a nice picture of some deep dish SSR Techno Shadow rims:

Little is known about the Techno Shadow rims, only that the were made by SSR somewhere in the 80s. They are even rarer than a meeting a gaijin in Hokkaido!
These deep dished Techno Shadows look fantastic on these Bosozoku styled cars! Really nice old school look and amazing how the thin spokes still keep such deep dished wheel in place!
And how deep is your dish?
