Unknown meeting with an unknown date, but with very well known cars:
Yes, that is one of the cars of Team Madonna! And as you can see they can still do what any other RWD car can do: do donuts! 😉
According to kiyotarouj the car is a Gloria Y30 with a 2 liter V6, so that must be the original VG20E engine.
Yes, the Toyota Mark II MX41 is indeed another well known car! Also the Fairlady Z S30 is a well known zokusha!
I admit: it was a bit inevitable…
Nissan Cedric C230 #1
Yep. The Cedric won! Could it be the fact that Daijiro Inada featured this car??
Winners so far are:
1.
Nissan Laurel C130 #1
2.
Nissan Skyline C110
3.
Nissan Cedric C230 #1
This week we have another Mark II versus another Laurel:
Toyota Mark II MX30 #2
This Mark II MX30 has some beetle eye lids, a chin spoiler, an oil cooler and a tail light swap with an old Cedric.
Versus
Nissan Laurel C130 #2
If you guessed Purple, then you are right: this is the Purple Laurel! The Purple Laurel actually did not have that many changes when these pictures were made: it only had a headlight swap, some deep dish rims, massive camber and of course its flakey Purple paint!
Later on a lot did change on the Laurel: big wide fenders, oil coolers, etc. See also the video for that.
The first winner is:
Nissan Laurel C130 #1
It must have been a tough choice between that Fairlady Z and this Laurel C130!! Thanks for voting!
This weeks entries:
Toyota Mark II MX41
This Mark II has some wide fenders, black and white paintjob, huge fins on the front fenders, a single wiper, a big lip and after its roof-chop in 2005 a double spoiler on the boot.
Edit: just discovered this is a MX41, not a MX30!
versus
Nissan Skyline C110
This 4 door Nissan Skyline C110 is styled in a similar way: the black on white paintjob, the wide fenders, massive camber at the back, a small oil cooler hanging under the front bumper, a big lip, a single wiper and most importantly: a set of Nissan Cherry 100a X-1R taillights! As a bonus: they parked their zokusha on a handicapped parking spot in true bosozoku style. 😉
I know: this week it will be a tough choice again…
These SSR Mk I rims are the best fitted Mk I rims I’ve seen so far!
Shakotan Mark II SSR mk1
From this angle the wheel almost appears to be extending the bodywork!
Another picture from the side to see how low this car actually is:
Shakotan Mark II SSR mk1
This shakotan Toyota Mark II GX71 lowered so much is almost scrapping to the ground! Unfortunately no info on the dimensions of the wheels, but looking at the pictures they must be 14 inch and somewhere near the 10J width.
This week we have a Mark II with inside-out exhausts coming out of the side of the car:
Side exhaust sticking out of this Toyota Mark II GX71
And on the other side two pipes as well:
Read on for more pictures and info on this exhaust beauty!
This week we have a Mark II with inside-out exhausts coming out of the side of the car:
Side exhaust sticking out of this Toyota Mark II GX71
And on the other side two pipes as well:
And another side exhaust from the left side
If you wonder why I said it was an inside-out exhaust? Well, simply because the exhaust is not coming from under the car, but from the inside of the car:
Exhaust coming right out of rear doors
Well, the rear doors couldn’t open anyway so it doesn’t matter the exhaust is going out from them. 😉
